Just a quick note. We preg checked our embryo cows today. 9 of 12 should be carrying embryos, so we are pretty excited about that! Also, my lead off bull in our local bull sale is a son of Meat Wagon. He out performed most of the pen of bulls. Adj weaning wt. is 794. He looks a lot like Meat Wagon. Has herd bull potential. We have been busy closing on a farm we bought, but now I have time to search for a Angus bull, so I will call the guys you told me about. Good luck in Denver. Not sure I will be able to come. If I make it, I will give you a call.

| Jenkins Cattle Company recently had 3rd high selling bull in the "The Bull Power Group " sale of forage fed bulls, Athens Ga @ $4500. A son of SAS Bold Image, [Bold Future x Knights black Magnolia].Gary reports over 80% of his bull calf crop sired by SAS Bold Image and SAS Rio Bravo were marketable, high selling bulls. At the recent Agribition, Regina, SASK, Blair and Stephanie McIntosh exhibited McIntosh LuLu 43x a daughter of SAS Sweet Meat. She was Junior Champion female and went on to top the sale later that day for $20000. Her full ET sib was chosen 2011 Agribition Pick Of The Barn and received an award of $10000. Congratulations to the McIntosh’s!!! |
